This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A stray rumble of thunder is possible during early morning.
Otherwise, thunderstorms redevelop this afternoon as a cold front
moves slowly into central Lower Michigan. The best chance for
afternoon thunderstorms will be in the Tri Cities and northern Thumb down
toward I-69. Storms are not expected to reach severe intensity,
however any stronger storms will be capable of 40 mph wind gusts and
half inch hail while moving west to east and 30 mph.

Locally heavy rainfall is the primary hazard both with storms this
afternoon and with expanded activity tonight as the cold front stalls
near the I-69 corridor. Rainfall totals around 1 inch are possible
along and north of the I-69 corridor by sunrise Tuesday which could
result in ponding of water on roads and in other prone areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

The front stalled across southern Lower Michigan tonight picks up
southward speed Tuesday morning. This shifts the potential for
thunderstorms to the south of I-69 across metro Detroit to the Ohio
border. Storms are not expected to reach severe intensity.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
