This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected this afternoon
into this evening. A few thunderstorms could produce damaging
wind gusts and localized flash flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening
as a cold front moves through the region. Some storms may be
capable of producing damaging wind gusts and scattered instances
of flash flooding.

EVENING FOR EAST CENTRAL BALTIMORE AND HARFORD COUNTIES...
At 537 PM EDT, Emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 3 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
