This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight


A Gale Warning is in effect for all of Maryland`s Chesapeake Bay
and the Tidal Potomac River.

A Wind Advisory goes into effect from late this afternoon for the
Chesapeake Bay shoreline in Anne Arundel, Calvert, and St. Mary`s
Counties, where wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday


A Gale Warning remains in effect through late Monday evening.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Anne Arundel, Calvert, and
St. Mary`s Counties through early Monday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO

2 PM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...North to northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to
50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Anne Arundel, St. Marys and Calvert Counties.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be along the
immediate shoreline of Maryland`s Chesapeake Bay in Anne
Arundel, Calvert, and St. Mary`s Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
