This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A Wind Advisory is in effect from 10 AM to 8 PM today for the Blue
Ridge Mountains, central Shenandoah Valley, and Hardy County West
Virginia.
There is an elevated fire danger today for areas west of the Blue
Ridge and Catoctin Mountains due to a combination of strong winds
and low relative humidity.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Isolated instances of flooding are possible Monday into Monday
night along and west of the Blue Ridge.
There is a slight threat for severe weather on Tuesday into
Tuesday night. All severe weather hazards are potentially at play
should the threat materialize. Isolated instances of flooding are
also possible.
