* WHERE...Calcasieu River near White Oak Park.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Water over lowest portions of Goos Ferry
Road. Cars should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 2.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Thursday was 2.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 2.7
feet just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 2.0 feet.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes,
Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Evangeline, Northern Calcasieu,
Rapides and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following
areas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Northern Orange,
Southern Jasper, Southern Newton, Tyler and Upper Jefferson.

* WHEN...Through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Area creeks and
streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another upper level disturbance is expected to work with a
very moist air mass to produce showers and thunderstorms
starting before daybreak Friday into Friday afternoon.
Additional rainfall amounts will average between 1 and 4
inches with locally higher amounts. The rain will fall on
already saturated grounds along with high water levels and
flows in creeks, bayous, and drainage ditches increasing the
flood potential.
