...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...


This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Louisiana,
northwest Louisiana and for deep east and northeast Texas along and
south of I-20.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the Flood Watch until 7 AM.

Moderate to heavy rainfall has returned to the area as the next
system pushes into the region. Another 2 to 4 inches of rainfall with
isolated higher amounts will be possible in some locations before
ending early on Friday. In addition, the threat for some strong to
severe storms exist today with all modes of severe weather possible,
but damaging winds and large hail will be the highest threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.


A chance for showers and thunderstorms will remain in the forecast
late Friday and early Saturday underneath the parent upper low. In
addition, a few strong to severe storms cannot be ruled out during
this timeframe for large hail primarily. Otherwise, improving
weather conditions are expected by Saturday afternoon and on through
early next week as temperatures climb into the lower 90s. Additional
rain chances may return on Wednesday with another weak cool front.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT FRIDAY...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes,
Bienville, Caldwell, De Soto, Grant, Jackson, La Salle,
Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Sabine and Winn and Texas,
including the following counties, Angelina, Cherokee, Nacogdoches,
Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby and Smith.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Low-water crossings may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are
running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall continues across much of north Louisiana with the
possibility of more rainfall overnight.
