This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central and southwest
Arkansas, for north central and northwest Louisiana and for deep
east and northeast Texas.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
A cluster of showers and thunderstorms continues to dive southward
down the I-49 corridor, crossing the I-20 corridor just after
daybreak and more developing in the Texarkana vicinity. These
thunderstorms will continue to push into eastern Texas during the
mid to late morning. Gusty winds to 40 or 60 mph will be possible
along with a good heavy rain with these storms. Additional
development will continue today and especially tonight once again as
the cold front starts to move through Oklahoma.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Strong to severe showers and thunderstorms be ongoing for early
Monday and any further development will come to an end during
Tuesday. Slightly cooler and drier conditions are expected to return
by the middle of the new week.
