This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Areas of fog will reduce visibilities to just under one mile in
low-lying spots across southeast Kansas early this morning.
An isolated shower or storm is possible across central Kansas this
afternoon. No severe weather is expected.
Pockets of areal flooding and areas of river flooding are ongoing
over southeast Kansas, due to excessive runoff from Sunday`s very
heavy rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Periodic thunderstorm chances return to the region from Tuesday
afternoon through Thursday evening. Strong to severe thunderstorms
are possible, along with additional heavy rainfall and localized
flooding. Stay tuned, as we continue to refine the forecast the
next few days.
