This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Some lingering thunderstorms will be continue to be possible for a
few more hours during the overnight. Allen, Neosho and Labette
counties will have best chance for this thunderstorm activity.
Severe weather is no longer expected but a few strong storms are
possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
There is a slight chance for a few thunderstorms over far southeast
Kansas Wednesday, but the severe weather threat should remain just
east and southeast of the region.
There is a chance for hit-or-miss showers and thunderstorms across
the region from Sunday night into next week, but the overall
potential for severe weather looks low.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Kansas, including the following
counties, Elk and Greenwood.
* WHEN...Until 845 AM CDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 847 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eureka, Howard, Moline, Longton, Hamilton, Severy, Grenola,
Fall River, Elk Falls, Climax, Virgil, Piedmont, Fall River
Lake, Fall River State Park, Eureka Airport, Eureka City
Lake, Cross Timbers State Park and Toronto Lake.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
