This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few isolated thunderstorms are possible after about 4 PM today
across central and southern portions of Kansas. The strongest
activity will be capable of pea to dime size hail, 50 to 60 mph
winds, and brief heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected Sunday afternoon
and evening. A few severe storms are possible, capable of golf ball
size hail, 75 mph winds, and perhaps a few tornadoes. The greatest
severe weather threat will be generally along and west of the Kansas
Turnpike.

A few severe thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and
evening, but this potential is highly conditional, as storms may
struggle to develop. Additional chances for severe storms exist over
eastern Kansas Tuesday afternoon and evening. Large hail, damaging
winds, and a few tornadoes are possible.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms remain in the forecast Thursday
through next weekend. Stay tuned as we continue to refine the
potential for severe weather.
