This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few thunderstorms are possible into the evening hours across
central and portions of south central Kansas. The strongest
activity will be capable of pea to dime size hail, 50 to 60 mph
winds, and brief heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected to develop Sunday
afternoon and evening. Some of the most intense storms will be
capable of producing very large hail up to tennis ball size hail,
damaging to destructive winds of 60 to 80 mph, and perhaps a few
tornadoes. The greatest severe weather threat area will be generally
along and west of the Kansas Turnpike.

A few severe thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and
evening, but this potential is highly conditional, as storms may
struggle to develop. Additional chances for severe storms exist
over eastern Kansas Tuesday afternoon and evening. Large hail,
damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are possible.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms remain in the forecast Thursday
through next weekend. Stay tuned as we continue to refine the
potential for severe weather.
