This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

River flooding will continue tonight along the Neosho River. See
latest flood warnings for additional details.

Storms are expected to develop by early this evening across western
Kansas and migrate east tonight. Areas along and west of Highway 14
will have the best chance to see a storm, generally after 7 pm. If a
storm moves into that area, baseball size hail, damaging winds to 70
mph and a tornado will be possible.

Additional storms will be possible late tonight as a cold front
starts to move through the region. The stronger storms will be
capable of quarter size hail and 55 to 60 mph winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Storms will remain in the forecast for Thursday, especially for
locations along and southeast of the Kansas Turnpike. A few strong
storms will be possible with this activity. Another cold front will
surge through Kansas on Friday night into Saturday morning and will
provide another chance for strong or severe storms.

Periodic thunderstorm chances will remain in the forecast for
Saturday night through early next week. Strong to severe
thunderstorms are possible, along with additional heavy rainfall and
localized flooding. Stay tuned, as we continue to refine the
forecast the next few days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this evening for locations
generally along and west of Highway 14.
