Thunderstorms are possible today and tonight across Central Indiana.
Severe storms are not expected. Lightning is a threat from any
thunderstorm.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday morning and again on Thursday
through Sunday. Severe weather looks unlikely with lightning being
the primary threat.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
Wabash River at Montezuma.
.Recent rainfall has brought Montezuma back above flood stage this
morning with Hutsonville and Riverton also expected to rise above
flood stage on Tuesday. Numerous rain showers are expected today
before dry weather returns for Tuesday and Wednesday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO EARLY FRIDAY
MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.
* WHEN...From this morning to early Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along
the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of
Montezuma begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Monday the stage was 14.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Monday was 14.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.8
feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage early Thursday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
