This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Illinois and
southeast Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.


Patchy dense fog will dissipate around 8 am. Where temperatures are
below freezing, the fog will result in slick spots, especially
bridges and overpasses.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.


Isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday night. These are not
expected to be severe. However, some locally heavy rain is possible
Saturday night after midnight north of I-70. This may cause ponding
of water where storm drains are clogged. Total rainfall amounts of
half to one inch are likely through Sunday near and north of I-70.

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CST SATURDAY...


* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Cumberland and Clark Counties.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures below freezing through early
Saturday morning, will result in freezing fog. Untreated
surfaces, particularly bridges and overpasses, may become icy
and slippery.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance ahead of you.
