This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.


Showers and thunderstorms are possible this evening through tonight.
Some of these storms may become severe late this evening, mainly
west of I-57, with locally damaging wind gusts and hail possible.

Locally heavy rain resulting in ponding of water or flash flooding
is also possible along with dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning.

South winds will gust from 30 to 45 mph through this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.


There will be chances for showers and thunderstorms most days Monday
through Friday. Chances for severe weather are low for Monday
through Tuesday. It is too early to determine the threat for severe
thunderstorms Wednesday through Saturday. Locally heavy rain
resulting in ponding of water or flash flooding is possible, along
with dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning.

Spotter activation may be needed late this evening.

Expected storm motion is toward the northeast around 45 mph.
