This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon and
evening. A few storms could become severe with damaging wind gusts
and hail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Thursday.
Occasional thunderstorms will occur Sunday night through Thursday,
with a risk for severe storms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
River flooding will continue on portions of the IL River for several
days. Please refer to river flood warnings for details.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation may be needed today between 3 pm and 9 pm.

Counties.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Illinois River at Peoria.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not
protected by levees.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 AM CDT Saturday was 19.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.1
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
