...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho...


Blackfoot River near Blackfoot (Butte Rd-Ft Hall) affecting
Bingham County.

.Snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause the river
flows to become high. This stretch of the Blackfoot River is very
close to flood stage, with the additional snow melt occurring.
Expect possible minor flooding downstream from the dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

downstream to the confluence with the Snake River.

- At 10:30 AM MDT Sunday the stage was 5.6 feet.
- Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
- Flood stage is 5.8 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

County.

.Snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause the river
flows to become high. The river stage in this stretch of the
Blackfoot River is very close to flood stage, with more melting
expected. Expect possible minor flooding downstream from the dam.

* IMPACTS...At 8.5 feet, From the mouth of Wolverine Canyon upstream
to the Blackfoot Dam, water flooding may be possible. Unimproved
campgrounds may have water seeping or ponding in them along with
strong flows at river`s edge. Flat areas along the river and
croplands may have water ponding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM MDT Sunday the stage was 8.4 feet.
