This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight
Showers and thunderstorms are likely today with a low end chance
for severe weather, mainly in the southeast this afternoon. All
modes of severe weather are possible. Moderate to locally heavy
rains are anticipated which may lead to standing water on fields
and roads, as well as within bank rises on rivers and streams.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Chances for showers and thunderstorms return Saturday and again
early next week. The severe weather threat looks low at this
time, but will continue to be evaluated in the coming days.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters may be needed this afternoon. Rainfall reports are
appreciated.

Northwestern Wapello County in southeastern Iowa...
* Until 730 PM CDT.
* At 138 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Emergency management has reported
water over paved roads and numerous gravel roads in the warned
area.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Chariton, Albia, Corydon, Eddyville, Rathbun Lake, Ottumwa
Industrial Airport, Seymour, Moravia, Russell, Lovilia, Allerton,
