central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
Periods of showers and thunderstorms are likely today. The primary
threat is locally heavy rainfall which could lead to flash
flooding. The Weather Prediction Center has a Slight Risk for
flash flooding for counties approximately along and south of
Interstate 80 for this afternoon into early tonight.
Some tributary rivers in eastern Iowa may rise above flood stage
over the next several days. Please refer to the latest river
flood statements for details.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
