This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT


There is a Moderate Risk, or a level 4 out of 5 for severe
weather through this evening for most of the Outlook Area. All
severe hazards will be possible including damaging winds of 60 to
80 mph, tornadoes, and large hail. In addition, repeated rounds of
thunderstorms may bring an isolated flash flood risk and ponding
of water.

Some tributary rivers across eastern Iowa are experiencing

Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY


There will be a chance for more thunderstorms on Friday. It is
still uncertain if any storms will be strong or severe, as well as
the ability to produce heavy rainfall.

FOR NORTHWESTERN JO DAVIESS AND CENTRAL DUBUQUE COUNTIES...

At 800 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Burton to East Rickardsville to near Bankston to
near Epworth, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Dubuque, Asbury, Epworth, East Dubuque, Farley, Peosta,
Rickardsville, Sherrill, Centralia, Sageville, Bankston, Durango,
Graf, Dubuque Regional Airport, Rockdale, Lattnerville, East
Rickardsville, Dubuque County Fairgrounds, Center Grove, and Camp
Little Cloud.

Illinois...and northeastern Iowa.

At 755 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Smiths to Lanark, moving northeast at 90 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR northern Carroll, Jo Daviess, and
Stephenson County.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
