This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, northeast Nebraska and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.


Showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop across the area tonight.
Severe weather is not expected, but areas of northwestern Iowa could
see rainfall totals up to an inch and a quarter. With soils and
small rivers and streams already nearing capacity, this may result in
expanded minor flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.


Additional chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms return
on Monday night into Tuesday. There may be a risk for a few strong to
severe storms. Continue to monitor your local forecast.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

- At 7:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM CDT Friday was 18.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.6
feet Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 19.0 feet Sunday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
