West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Humboldt and
Kossuth Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The East Fork Des Moines River near Algona, or from
Buffalo Creek near Burt...to Lotts Creek near Livermore.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:15 AM CDT Sunday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river will remain around 17.5 feet through
this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
