Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.


Strong winds expected again today. Gusts 30 to 40 mph expected.
Isolated higher gusts are possible this afternoon, and may also
occur with showers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday. Some of
these storms may contain small hail, along with a potential for weak
funnels.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Milford.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, significant amounts of pasture and other
farm lands begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 13.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2
feet early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
