This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central
Georgia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...
Scattered thunderstorms are likely across portions of north and
western Georgia this afternoon and evening, mainly west of a Cordele
to Lawrenceville to Homer line. Although widespread severe weather
is not anticipated, a few strong to severe storms are likely.
Primary hazards would be strong and damaging winds, frequent
lightning strikes, localized heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...
Scattered thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening,
are likely through the weekend and much of next week.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight but any
reports of severe weather or flash flooding are greatly appreciated.
