This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight


Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are
expected this afternoon and evening. Showers and storms will
initially develop along the Continental Divide, then pushing
across the valleys and adjacent plains through this evening. The
main thunderstorm risks with stronger storms will be lightning,
outflow winds of 40 to 50 mph, small hail, and periods of heavy
rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday


Scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are
expected each day through Monday over the mountains, with more
isolated activity over the plains. The primary concerns will be wind
gusts to 40 mph, periods of moderate to heavy rainfall, and cloud to
ground lightning. More isolated convection is forecast starting
Tuesday.
