This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...
A Red Flag Warning for critical fire weather conditions is in effect
this afternoon through early evening across the entire Tri-State
area. All outdoor burning should be avoided. If any fires do occur,
they may be hard to contain and spread rapidly.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible through early
this evening for locations generally north of a line from Kit Carson,
Colorado to Goodland, Kansas and McCook, Nebraska. The primary hazard
will be wind gusts up to 55 mph, which may produce some blowing dust.
