This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight


Critical fire weather conditions will develop across the San Luis
Valley today between 1 PM and 7 PM due to low humidity values and
gusty afternoon winds. Please avoid all outdoor activities that
could start a fire.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday


Critical fire weather conditions remain possible for the San Luis
Valley and portions of the Plains Wednesday, with the potential
for critical fire weather conditions continuing across the San
Luis Valley through the rest of the work week.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible across
the Central mountains through the Southeast mountains and Plains
Wednesday and Wednesday night, with the potential for severe storms
across the far southeast Plains Wednesday afternoon and early evening.
Light snow accumulations of up to a few inches will be possible across
the higher terrain, with the greatest accumulations expected north
of Cottonwood Pass.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to
be possible across higher terrain and immediate adjacent plains
through the rest of the work week into the early weekend.
