This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Scattered rain and snow showers will continue across the central
and southern mountains tonight, with generally light accumulations
of a up to few inches possible across the higher peaks above 10000
feet.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
There will be an uptick in thunderstorm activity on Tuesday with
some high elevation snow, followed by an overall drier pattern for
southeast Colorado from Wednesday through Sunday. Only light
accumulations are anticipated across the highest elevations,
though the peaks of the central mountains may see 3 to 5 inches of
new snow through Tuesday evening.
Enhanced fire danger is expected for portions of the area on
Thursday.
