...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT SUNDAY NIGHT

TO 9 AM MST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 18 below expected Sunday
night into Monday morning.

* WHERE...The northern I-25 corridor, including Greeley, Fort Collins
and Loveland.

* WHEN...From midnight Sunday Night to 9 AM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 16 below zero
could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not
taken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Unsheltered people will have a high risk of frostbite and
hypothermia. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and
neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly.

Livestock and pets will be vulnerable to the cold, so ensure adequate
sheltering during this extended period of cold weather. Make sure
outdoor animals have a warm and dry shelter, food, and unfrozen
water.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight


Well below normal temperatures are expected today and tonight.
Light to moderate snow is expected to develop across the mountains
through this evening, with difficult travel possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday


The arctic airmass will remain in place through Monday morning.
Light snow is increasingly likely for all areas Sunday
afternoon/evening, with a dusting to a few inches of accumulation,
mainly along/west of I-25.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed but snowfall reports are
greatly appreciated.
