This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.



Warm and dry air with wind gusts up to 40 mph this afternoon will
create increased fire danger from South Park across the foothills
and onto the eastern Colorado plains. In the northern mountains
and the northern I-25 corridor winds will not be as strong. An
isolated strong thunderstorm is possible near the Nebraska border
in the late afternoon. There is a slight chance of mountain snow
showers or lower elevations rain showers late tonight.



For the coming work week, there will be a chance of afternoon and
evening showers and thunderstorms each day, with the higher chances
being over the mountains. Wednesday afternoon and evening looks like
the most active day with the most widespread precipitation. The
threat of severe weather is low.
