This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Well below normal temperatures are expected today and tonight,
with wind chill values below zero across most of the plains. Light
to moderate snow is expected to develop across the mountains today
into tonight, with difficult travel possible. Over the plains,
periods of light snow will continue through the day, with
additional snowfall expected late tonight into Saturday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
An arctic airmass will remain in place through Sunday, with high
temperatures near 20F both days and lows in the lower single
digits. The mountains will receive moderate snowfall through
Saturday with 4 to 10 inches expected. Light snow is increasingly
likely for all areas Sunday afternoon/evening, with a dusting to
a few inches of accumulation, mainly along/west of I-25.

SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 9 inches.
* WHERE...The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, and the
Indian Peaks.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions will
impact the Friday evening and Saturday commutes, including ski
traffic along the I-70 mountain corridor and US-40 over Berthoud
Pass.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Roads will be slick resulting in slow and hazardous travel. Allow
