This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Freezing temperatures will occur across the southwest Colorado
valleys this morning. Critical fire weather conditions will occur
across portions of the west-central Colorado valleys where fuels are
critical due to gusty winds and low relative humidity. Some showers
and isolated thunderstorms are possible across the northwest Colorado
mountains with little in the way of precipitation.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Warmer conditions return this coming week with a return to above
normal temperatures. Aside from daily afternoon storms possible over
the northern and central Colorado mountains, mostly dry and benign
weather will occur for the rest of the area. Critical fire weather
conditions potentially return Friday into the weekend ahead of
another low pressure trough.
