This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible
through this evening across portions of southern and western
Arkansas. A few storms could produce heavy downpours, gusty winds
and some small hail.

Around midnight a line of strong to severe thunderstorms is
expected to move into portions of west and northwest Arkansas.
These storms will move east through sunrise and will be capable of
producing damaging winds gusts, hail, heavy downpours and perhaps
a couple of tornadoes. This activity is expected to weaken as it
moves east.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Chances for severe weather will increase Wednesday into Wednesday
night with all modes of severe weather possible, including very
large hail and isolated tornadoes. Locally heavy downpours may
lead to spotty flash flooding.

Hit and miss showers and storms will linger on Thursday before
cooler, drier, and more seasonal air returns Friday into the
weekend.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation is not expected.
