This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to return today,
as the next system pushes into the region. Rainfall amounts up to an
inch will be possible, with isolated higher amounts in some locations.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
A chance for showers and thunderstorms will remain in the forecast on
Friday and Saturday. In addition, an isolated strong to severe
storm cannot be ruled out during this timeframe. Otherwise,
improving weather conditions are expected by Sunday and through
early next week, with temperatures climbing into the lower 90s.
Additional rain chances may return on Wednesday with another weak
cool front.

Arkansas...
Ouachita River At Felsenthal Lock and Dam affecting Ashley and
Union Counties.
For the Ouachita River...including Felsenthal Lock and Dam...Minor
flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- Bankfull stage is 65.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 AM CDT Thursday was 70.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to continue to slowly fall
this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just
after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 70.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
70.2 feet on 12/14/2015.
