This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


Showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will continue this afternoon
and tonight across extreme Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma,
Southwest Arkansas, and Northcentral Louisiana. Brief heavy rainfall
will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.


Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop by
midday Monday through the afternoon across Northeast Texas, Southeast
Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas, and Northcentral Louisiana, along and
ahead of a cold front and associated upper level disturbance. Some of
these storms may become severe, with damaging winds, large hail, and
locally heavy rainfall possible. These showers and thunderstorms are
expected to diminish by early evening. Drier conditions will return
to the region Tuesday and Wednesday, before showers and thunderstorms
increase once again Thursday and Friday.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in

Arkansas...

Ouachita River At Felsenthal Lock and Dam affecting Ashley and
Union Counties.

For the Ouachita River...including Felsenthal Lock and Dam, Monroe,
Columbia...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Monday morning at 1015 AM CDT.
