EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Scattered storms return to the area Tuesday and Wednesday. A more
impactful storm then arrives Thursday to Friday with more
widespread thunder potential, breezy conditions, and areas of
heavy rain. Cooler and drier weather will move in behind this
system but additional rain will likely occur by next weekend.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Mulberry River near Mulberry.
* WHEN...Until late this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, no flooding occurs but the river is swift
and dangerous. Backwater from the Arkansas River may affect low
lying areas near the first few miles of the Mulberry River.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 10.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below the action
stage of 10.0 feet early this evening.
- Action stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

and the recreational vehicle campground should continue to monitor
later forecasts.

- Forecast...The river has crested and will continue to fall
