DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected across northeast Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas ahead of an upper low and weak cold front.
Organized severe weather is not expected, but a few of these
storms could become severe briefly with hail and wind the main
threats. Locally heavy rainfall from these storms could lead to
flash flooding.

A complex of storms could organize tonight and move east across
southern Oklahoma. There is a limited risk of severe wind from
these storms if they were to move into southeast Oklahoma before
weakening.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The unsettled weather pattern continues through the middle of next
week, with daily thunderstorm chances. The greatest potential for
significant severe weather will be from Monday onward as the flow
aloft strengthens. The potential for flash flooding will exist
with any pockets of locally heavy rainfall that occurs, especially
this weekend.

SOUTHEASTERN CRAWFORD AND NORTHEASTERN SEBASTIAN COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE
AT 245 AM CDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds of 40 to 50 mph are still possible with these thunderstorms.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties,
Crawford and Sebastian and Oklahoma, including the following
counties, Le Flore and Sequoyah.

* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 147 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Rainfall amounts of around 1 inch are expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
