...HEAVY SNOW EXPECTED ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND FAR NORTHEAST
WISCONSIN...

.Moderate to heavy snow will continue through the late afternoon
and evening across north central and far northeast Wisconsin, with
any mixed precipitation transitioning to snow farther south. Some
minor ice accumulations will also be possible across all but far
northern Wisconsin. Precipitation will gradually taper off
overnight but roads will likely remain slippery in spots,
especially secondary and untreated roads.

TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Difficult travel conditions,
including the evening commute time. Additional snow
accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of up to
one tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Menominee, Door, Shawano and Southern Oconto County
Counties.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
times.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight


Hazardous travel conditions are anticipated over much of the
region tonight. Heavy snow is expected to gradually taper off over
northern Wisconsin this evening, but the potential for light snow,
light freezing rain or freezing drizzle will persist overnight.
Untreated roads, secondary roads, bridges and overpasses may
remain snow or ice covered in spots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday


Light snow could create slippery roads in the lakeshore counties
Tuesday morning, as the storm system exits the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are requested to report snow and ice accumulations to the
National Weather Service in Green Bay.
