This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


Areas of dense fog may develop again tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


The remnants of Zeta will bring widespread rainfall Thursday into
Thursday night, which could lead to flooding.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...


* WHAT...Visibility less than one mile in dense fog.

* WHERE...Bedford, Amherst, Pittsylvania, Campbell, Appomattox,
Buckingham, Halifax and Charlotte Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dense fog is already forming from Lynchburg
to South Boston and will likely expand westward toward Amherst,
Bedford, and Danville as the night progresses. Visibility will
be highly variable from one location to another adding to the
hazardous driving conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, reduce speed, use low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Allow extra time to reach your destination.
