This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern West Virginia,
northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland
with the exception of Garrett County.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through this evening for
Augusta, Greene, Albemarle, Nelson and Orange Counties in Virginia
as well as the central Virginia Blue Ridge.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through this evening for
additional portions of central and northwestern Virginia as well
as a small portion of eastern West Virginia.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A slight winter storm threat exists Thursday night into Friday
morning and again Saturday, primarily west of the Blue Ridge. If
the threat materializes, it may cause travel disruptions.


Spotters are asked to report significant weather via standard
operating procedures.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches

* WHERE...Rockingham, Page, Greene, Madison, Culpeper, and
Stafford Counties in Virginia along with the northern Virginia
Blue Ridge.

* WHEN...Until midnight EST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on snow covered roads and slippery
conditions. Travel will be difficult. Temperatures will remain
well below freezing tonight, so any untreated surfaces will
remain snow covered and slippery.


A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
