This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Valley rain and mountain snow will focus on mainly the northern
half of the outlook area through this evening. Precipitation will
be limited to the Idaho and Nevada border areas late tonight.

Gusty southerly winds will develop across the much of western
Utah by this afternoon. These winds will be strongest over west-
central Utah and may kick up blowing dust by late this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

The cold upper level low pressure system along the California
coast will keep gusty southerly winds going across much of
western Utah Monday. Temperatures will be mild with most readings
at or above early April norms across the outlook area. Showers,
along with a few thunderstorms will fill in across much of the
area during the day Monday. These showers and storms will retreat
into extreme southwest Utah Tuesday, then expand north and east
across much of central and southern Utah midweek as the low
pressure tracks east across the desert southwest.

A drier and more stable northerly flow will return to the outlook
area for Friday and Saturday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
