...TORNADO WATCH 139 IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING...


This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast Oklahoma and
northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


Severe weather chances will return to the region today and continue
into the weekend. All modes of severe weather will be possible,
along with a threat for flash flooding resulting from training heavy
rainfall in a few locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.


Severe weather chances will linger through the weekend. The greatest
chance for widespread severe weather will be Sunday, with all modes
of severe weather being possible. Additionally, 3-5 inches of
rainfall will be possible through the middle of the new workweek,
which could result in additional flooding and flash flooding given
recent rainfall.

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northern Cass County in northeastern Texas...
Southern Bowie County in northeastern Texas...
Morris County in northeastern Texas...
Eastern Titus County in northeastern Texas...
Central Camp County in northeastern Texas...
Southeastern Red River County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 540 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cookville, or
8 miles east of Mount Pleasant, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Mount Pleasant, Atlanta, New Boston, Hooks, Daingerfield, Queen
City, Naples, Redwater, Maud, Omaha, Cason, Us 259 And I 30
Intersection, Cookville, Rocky Branch, Wilkerson, Dalby Springs,
Leary, Bloomburg, Douglassville, and Marietta.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for northeastern
Texas.
