This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of northern...
western...central...and southern Oklahoma...and western north

.DAY ONE...Through Sunrise Saturday...

Gusty winds and very heavy rain will accompany lingering
thunderstorms across northern and central Oklahoma. Organized
severe storms are no longer expected.

.Heavy Rain and Flooding...
Additional rainfall may cause flooding due to saturated soils
across the region and any residual flooding ongoing from rainfall
earlier this week. The highest risk for flooding is across
northern Oklahoma and central.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...

There is a risk for severe thunderstorms on Saturday, Sunday and
Tuesday. On Saturday, the greatest risk for severe thunderstorms
is across northwest Oklahoma. On Sunday, the greatest risk is
across western Oklahoma and adjacent parts of north Texas. The
risk for severe weather will be across much of the area on

Flooding will be a continued risk with any additional rainfall
through at least Tuesday of next week.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Beaver Creek near Electra.

* until Tuesday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 8:00 PM Friday the stage was 28.2 feet.

* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Beaver Creek will fall to near 26.5 feet Saturday
afternoon and then begin rising Saturday evening. The Beaver Creek
is forecast to crest near 28.6 feet early Monday morning. The
Beaver Creek will fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning.

* Impact...At 29.0 feet...Widespread flood levels up to 5 feet in
depth cover farm and range lands...and may inundate some oil and
gas facilities...along and near the creek in southern Wilbarger
County and southwestern Wichita County.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Red River near Burkburnett.

* from Sunday afternoon to Sunday evening...or until the warning is


* At 7:30 PM Friday the stage was 8.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Red River is forecast to crest near 9.0 feet early
Sunday afternoon.

* Impact...At 9.0 feet...Crop and range lands...oil fields...and
rural roads are affected. Some low-lying areas near the river may
be isolated by high water in side channels. Bottomlands near
Davidson Oklahoma begin to flood several hours before the crest
approaches the Burkburnett area. The flood crest reaches the area
along the river near Taylor Oklahoma several hours later. Cattle
and other property should be relocated to places which are higher
than nearby river banks to avoid being stranded.
