...ENHANCED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON...

Relative humidity values will fall to between 25 and 30% for
several hours this afternoon. The combination of low relative
humidity values, 10 to 15 knot wind gusts in lower elevations,
15 to 25 knot wind gusts in higher elevations, and drier weather
the past several days will result in enhanced fire danger this
afternoon.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn today. If you do burn, use extreme caution since
fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.

...Strong to Severe Storms Possible Monday...

A strong cold front will move across the region Monday afternoon
and evening. The airmass ahead of the frontal boundary will become
moist and unstable producing widespread showers and
thunderstorms. Some of these storms could become strong to severe
with the main concern being damaging winds and hail, but an
isolated tornado is possible across southeast Tennessee.

There remains a good deal of uncertainty of the development of
this system and further updates to the forecast are expected.
