Dakota...Minnesota...
Red River of the North at Fargo affecting Cass and Clay Counties.
.Recent heavy rainfall in the southern Red River Valley is leading
to increased river levels along the Red River in Fargo.
For the Red River...including Fargo...Minor flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message - Turn around, don`t drown. Don`t travel through
flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Red River of the North at Fargo.
* WHEN...From this evening to Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, MINOR FLOOD. Elm St between 14th and 15th
Ave N is closed (Fargo). Storm sewer pump stations are beginning
to operate (Fargo).
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 18.5 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
