This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this morning and
afternoon. There is a Marginal Risk of severe thunderstorms with
any thunderstorms that form later this afternoon and evening across
western and central Minnesota. Large hail and damaging winds are
the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Widespread thunderstorms are expected overnight tonight through
Saturday. There is a Marginal Risk of severe thunderstorms with
these storms late tonight into tomorrow. The main hazards would
be large hail and damaging winds.


SKYWARN spotter activation is not anticipated.

and Yellow Medicine Counties
Minnesota River At Morton affecting Renville County

.Overview... The next chance of rain is overnight tonight into
Saturday. This will delay the fall of the mainstem and possibly
cause tribuaries to rise temporarily. After Saturday, dry
weather will return.


Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Turn Around...Don`t Drown.

Warning continues for
The South Fork Crow River at Delano.
* until Saturday evening.
* At 10:30 AM Friday the stage was 16.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near flood stage this
* Impact...At 16.9 feet...Storms sewers may need plugging to prevent
river water from backing up into city streets.
* Impact...At 15.4 feet...Water begins encroaching on Mill Avenue
north of Watertown.
* Impact...At 14.9 feet...Basement flooding may begin at homes close
to the river.
