This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Thunderstorms are possible through this evening. A few storms
this afternoon and evening may be strong to severe, producing
gusty winds of 50 to 60 mph, hail up to quarter size, and
lightning. The best chances will be across northwest Wisconsin and
along and south of a Castle Danger to Wales to Meadowlands to Lake
Mille Lacs line.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Additional periods of thunderstorms are possible Thursday evening
into this weekend. Some of these storms could become strong to
severe Friday late afternoon into Friday night and again Saturday
afternoon and evening. Periods of heavy rainfall could also lead
to localized flooding Friday and Saturday.
Hot and humid conditions are expected on Friday with temperatures
in the mid to upper 80s and heat indices in the upper 80s to mid
90s. Heat Advisories may be needed.
