This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
A few strong to marginally severe storms are possible after 2 am.
The main risks will be nickel to quarter size hail and 50 to 60 mph
wind gusts.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
A conditional risk of isolated severe storms exist Friday afternoon
along and east of the Flint Hills.
Very high grassland fire danger is expected on Friday and Saturday
across the area. Showers and storms may preclude the fire threat.
Severe storms will be possible on Saturday. There is also the
potential for localized flooding where training thunderstorms
occur.
Thunderstorm chances may linger across far southeast Kansas on
Sunday. Additional storm chances are possible Tuesday and
Wednesday.
