This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Patchy fog is forecast for much of the area this morning. Drivers
should be alert for rapid changes in visibility.

A few storms are possible over extreme southeast KS today. These are
not expected to be severe. Storms are more likely late tonight,
roughly west of a line from Lincoln to Hutchinson to Harper. A few
may be strong with locally heavy rain, small hail and winds to 50
mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Storms are in the forecast throughout this period, but the greatest
severe weather threats will be over the weekend. One or more rounds
of strong to severe storms and flood producing heavy rain is
probable over the weekend. However there is considerable uncertainty
in the details, with much depending on how storms evolve late
Friday late night. At this point, the threat for heavy rain and
flooding is highest Saturday night and Sunday morning. Continue to
check later outlooks for updates.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
