This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat indices are expected to be in the 100 to 104 degree range for
southern Kansas this afternoon.

Scattered storms will be possible today for mainly central and
northeast Kansas, and for most of the area tonight. The stronger
storms today and tonight will be capable of downburst winds to 55
mph along with dime size hail. In addition, high rainfall rates will
also be likely which may lead to flooding, with southeast Kansas
having the best chance to experience flooding tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Scattered storms will remain possible for Thursday through Friday
with a few strong storms with heavy rainfall possible.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
